How it works

Fill in the event brief at the bottom of the page: the kind of event, the date, how many guests, where it is and what you need. The live seating plan shows the tables, floor space and toilets for your guest count, and you can add a hire list with quantities. We send the brief to event companies, planners, hire companies and caterers who work in your area, and they quote you directly. You compare and decide. It costs you nothing.

Getting event quotes you can compare

Two quotes for "a tent for 100" can be far apart. Ask each supplier what is included: delivery, setup and strike times, sidewalls, flooring, lighting, linen, staff on the day and travel. Check the deposit and cancellation terms, what happens if it rains or the wind picks up, who carries public liability insurance and whether tents and stages are certified. For catering, compare menus per head with the same number of courses and waiters. Book early for Saturdays in spring and December, and confirm the venue's noise curfew and approved suppliers before you pay anyone.

No. We are a free quote service. You fill in one event brief and we pass it to independent event companies, planners, hire companies, caterers and suppliers who work in your area. They contact you directly with their prices. We don't plan, hire out or cater anything ourselves, and there is no obligation.

How much does a 100-guest function cost?

Should I hire an event company or book suppliers myself?

An event management company or planner books and coordinates everyone for a fee. For a smaller party you can book a tent, tables and chairs and a caterer directly. You can send a brief for either.
